HOSTING! The one thing everyone needs to get started with their affiliate marketing business, but something you rarely hear anything about.
So which is the best hosting for affiliate marketers?
As an affiliate marketer, I have only used two services which both have their pro and cons (and I will tell you about them shortly) but let me point out something first.
As an affiliate marketer – especially if you are a beginner – you do not need some incredibly, out of this world powerful hosting service.
If that’s what you’ve been led to believe, you’ve been lied to.
I know you have plans to go big with your website, but if you’re just starting out – which is what I assume is the case here – then you need something simple that just works well.
The best hosting platforms I’m about to share with you below are perfect for what you have in mind. Something reliable, something trustworthy and something you can rest assured is functioning 24/7/365.
So with that said, which are the best hosting package for your affiliate websites?
Here are my two choices:
Of course, these are by no means the only hosting options available, but these are what I have used in the past and continue to use to this day.
For the record, I’ve also tried GoDaddy which I was never too fond of, but it’s not a terrible option either.
Each link above takes you to both my reviews of those companies but if you’d like to get more details as to WHY I think these are the best hosting providers for affiliates, then read on:
Let’s start with my absolute favourite:
Wealthy Affiliate Hosting
I talk about Wealthy Affiliate often here and for good reason to – it’s just the perfect resource for affiliate marketers.
It’s actually not meant to be a hosting company either – they just offer free hosting to all premium members as a side bonus.
Yes, you’ve read that right; you get free premium hosting – up to 50 websites – when you become a premium member at Wealthy Affiliate.
Why is Wealthy Affiliate perfect for affiliates?
Wealthy Affiliate is more than just a hosting service, it’s an all-encompassing affiliate marketing hub that gives you the ability to connect with millions of other affiliates and leverage their collective knowledge to help you build your own online business.
I too am a product of Wealthy Affiliate’s training and it’s thanks to it that I am sitting here today writing this message for you (instead of pushing papers in some dingy 9-5 office).
Apart from the world-class training, you also get:
- A free keyword-research tool
- A free article writing tool
- A free hour-long webinar every Friday (+ access to the 100s already recorded)
- A safe, spam-free experience where you can earn while you learn
- and so much more.

BlueHost Hosting Plans
BlueHost is also a great option.
It’s a hosting service that is loved by many affiliate marketers and it usually is the go-to choice for beginners for many reasons.
Why is BlueHost the (second) best option for affiliate marketers?
They offer simple one-click WordPress installation which is incredibly useful to all those who are not technically savvy.
It’s also relatively cheap to start with and in about 5 minutes from now (and for around $19 per month – including a domain), you can have your affiliate marketing website up and ready.
It’s simple, cost-efficient and also incredibly powerful hosting relative to the price you pay.
In time you may want to upgrade to a more robust hosting package as your site and need for bandwidth grows but for beginner affiliate marketers (who are just testing out the waters); BlueHost is one of the best options out there.
BlueHost vs Wealthy Affiliate – Which One Is For You?
As I am sure you can tell; my obvious choice for this would be Wealthy Affiliate since it offers free hosting for up to 50 websites.
On BlueHost, you’re going to need to pay $250 a month compared to the $49 you have to pay to Wealthy Affiliate to access the premium hosting plan + all the other benefits listed above.
But I don’t need to host 50 websites – you may be thinking.
Of course, nobody needs 50 websites but I do have 10 niche sites hosted on there which alone is pretty damn good and it saves me a good amount of money.
As a beginner with just one website, BlueHost may be the better choice for you so if you just want to start a simple affiliate website, BlueHost is the one you should probably go for.
The only issue with BlueHost is that you do not get access to all the training, resources and benefits which Wealthy Affiliate offers.
If you want to go about it your own way – or maybe you already know how to make money with an affiliate website, then BlueHost is for you.
With that said; I do recommend you try on the Wealthy Affiliate free trial as well while you’re at it so at least you get to see if there’ something you can learn.
If this is looking like a push towards joining Wealthy Affiliate you are right; I do think it’s the best choice here but of course; not all marketers have the same needs.
It’s up to you to make your own mind up now.
Which is the best hosting for affiliate marketers?
My vote would be Wealthy Affiliate first, BlueHost second.
As I said, there are plenty other hosting platforms that you can use but I’m just giving you my honest opinion from my own experiences.
